Overall Family Status: Economic hard times still are front and center. But true to
HIS promise, God has provided every NEED that we have. Some through ways
we could never foresee. God's used some of you, who have provided financial
gifts that have kept the lights burning and the mortgage paid. We thank all of you
who have continued to support us even in this transitional period. Continue in
prayer for us as we seek employment or to get some jobs I can start NOW.
Winter slowdown combined with the insecurity of our current economy, has
brought my business to a stand still. Spring is promising much work, but
EVERYONE seems to be waiting until spring.
Tricia and I are increasingly burdened for the people here. We hope to finish the
kitchen & bathroom renovations so we may be able to entertain more people.
The need is great here, and we know the devil is working overtime trying to
discourage us with the task set before us. Pray for us to be able to get our
physical house in order.
Also - Tricia has a burden to open a quality 2nd hand clothing store. Store rents
are so inexpensive, that it would cost us between $1500 - 2000 to get a store
opened. Pray for us as we seek to go about it.
As for the kids, this place is truly becoming home for them. They have made true
friends here. John has a true and best friend that lives just at the end of our street.
They run through the woods with their BB guns and spend all their time outside
like boys should. We live in a town where kids don't spend their days in front of
the computer or Nintendo - PRAISE GOD!
